Begun in 1999, Completed Nov. 7, 2015
Life changes came in like a tidal wave in 2000, and Wolf Clan was packed away, moved twice, and just rediscovered to be completed properly. As she adds her clan feathers to her great white wolf, her guardian, her power animal and companion, she possesses the same yellow wolf eyes at her partner. I added our deep Connecticut woods, as well as the deep dark sky with the crescent moon and bright Jupiter that appeared outside my pre-dawn studio window on Nov. 7. I like her very much and know that’s it time for her to be out into the world.
This unique one of a kind painting is mixed media and will be the first to be added to my ‘Original’ works of art to be offered on my website. I think my Chicago tribe will recognize my past work in this one easily. Wolf Clan could have been presented at Riverwalk in Naperville if life had taken a different turn. Instead she graces our lives in 2015, a piece of the past mingled with the present. The Original can be found here: http://www.patgullettdesigns.com/women-of-the-dreamtime/single-gallery/20842567?SSScrollPosition=305.
But in keeping with the global essence of 2015, her image can also be seen here: http://www.redbubble.com/people/patgullett/works/17412304-wolf-clan-ceremony-the-ritual.
