Sacred Magical Herons and Cranes

Three Magic Herons, Sacred & Magical to most ancient cultures

Sacred Magical Herons and Cranes are symbolic of being centered and at peace with ones True Self. All ancient civilizations honored them as masters over the three worlds of air, land, and water. Their power is the feminine gentle goddess, the Mother over all. 3 Magic Herons represent the 3 Basic Necessities of Life to thrive and move forward: patience, longevity, and magic.

First of all, Patience is all about being patient with oneself. We only become impatient and frustrated when we don’t value what we do. Being chained to have-to habits that bring no self appreciation or pride will bring us down every time.

Patience slows life down. You live more in mindfulness of every experience. One way to do this is to take away any deadline to complete a task. Believe that you have all the time in the world, and you will.

Each action must fill you in some way. Treat every day things as though they are a ritual of life. Try new ways of doing a thing or rearrange the order of the usual. Have coffee outside. Take a walk before breakfast. Just connect with Nature in some way, bringing in a twig/leaf/flower to add to the table. Also, when life slows down, memories are made, feelings run deeper, and inner peace sets in.

Secondly, herons and cranes are symbols of longevity. Stories are told of solitary cranes who have lived on islands since the beginning of time. Longevity brings wisdom and knowledge of hidden truths. Alphabets were formed from the shapes of cranes in flight.

Furthermore, they have strong claw grips that carry them from land to water. So interesting that I’m strengthening my hands with physical therapy for tendonitis, achy wrists, and fingers that go astray. Using brushes and pencils have new challenges.

Plus, I found this article in my google feed about strong hand grips and longevity! Stronger hands allow you to do more things, be more active, and experience more fun. All these things make life more interesting and exciting. Makes sense to me.

In addition, longevity isn’t measured in the days gone by, but in the quality of life truly, wholly, completely lived. Honor your body. Keep it strong and full of power to make life more meaningful and memorable.

Sacred Magical Herons and Cranes are said to guard the ancient caves of magic, shapeshifting, and prophecy.

Last but not least, it is most important to keep Magic in our lives. Magic is just the unknown. Everything was magic at some point, until we learned what it was about. Seek out the mystery. Be curious to learn new things, try new adventures, and just explore without an agenda/map/or plan. Therefore, learn to wander again and life becomes a wonderland.

See with fresh eyes the amazing world around you and you will discover secret parts to yourself and life. Be like the crane, shapeshift into new personalities to be and to try on for size. Broaden your wings and fly. Pretend more, dress to make yourself happy, and be the creator of your life.

We are all in a state of Being. Change can happen in a moment. Live this day with purpose, immerse in life, and play again.
