I Am Timeless.
Walking the ancient streets of Paris, Istanbul, or Crete, or creating Art in my studio, give me the great experience of Being Out of Time. Away from the world of schedules, lists, deadlines, have-tos, it’s pure living in the moment, in complete Mindfulness. I feel amazed and inspired when this happens! It’s as though I become Timeless on a River of Flow….as the Foo Fighters sing, “I Am the River”. Each is a life changing experience in the backdrop of creation. I’m carried to the Joy and timelessness of Life.
It creates within me, an ancient waking dream of unique lands and culture so different from daily ‘reality’. Another exotic country or my inner landscape, I feel in a safe place of exploration, remembering, and finding myself. We can talk about timelessness, but to experience it is another whole thing. It’s expanding to be In Time, yet to choose to go Beyond Time, simultaneously. Transcending Time, as the movie ‘Interstellar’ succeeded in capturing so brilliantly, it’s gravitational field tied to space & matter, feels both an illusion and real. These are places where ‘thinking’ is too slow, and is abandoned for intuition, feeling, and the senses.
This experience can be done throughout the day. Try it yourself. Don’t watch the clock or stick to any timetables for a day. Tell yourself your will accomplish all you choose to do this day easily & effortlessly. Then when you’ve flowed through your day, check the clock. I believe you’ll be amazed at all the ‘time’ you have left. You’ve put aside the schedule to immerse yourself in being creative, and ‘Time’ will always be on your side!
