Allow the New Year to be a new start in thinking and living. I found myself surrounded by so many things that used to trigger my emotions, used to set me off in new creative directions, and used to spark an energy deep within, but no longer hold that power. They had become like an old Gothic mansion of clutter, attracting more clutter. Things of the past, lingering in my new life….taking up space and energy, have become nearly invisible as I work around them instead of with them. Clearing shelves, bundling, donating, recycling, cleared my mind as they lightened my load.
I decided to keep only that which inspires, excites, comforts, or brings happiness. Lists of ‘I have to’s’ are replaced with ‘I love to’s’. I seek happiness every day in every way. Fresh open spaces make room for wondrous new experiences to flow in daily. Declutter the mind by letting go of grudges, anger, or judgement calls. They are so old and will stop you cold in your tracks. No movement, no growth, no expansion.

Let’s be like Polar Bear Rising from the icy depths of numbing thoughts to the breath of fresh air filled with new ideas, potentials, and dreams. Make this New Year really a Happy one!

What a wonderful memory! That was quite a time back then. It seemed so many were seeking new directions in their lives. This bear really called to me. Her look, thoughts, feelings resonated so deeply. I’ve been updating my entire website, http://www.patgullettdesigns.com, to be more user friendly, and have a new look for 2016. I have a fox to begin today, then I’ll be adding more print options and Polar Bear will certainly be available. So glad me met at Whole Life….such a unique great way to connect with like minded souls. Thanks for being there for me over all these years!
