Home is always a Cleansing

I might as well be standing under a waterfall, letting all the miles wash away into the pool of time. The pollen flurries of a warm Asheville spring, the inspiration of wonderful artists at the Smithsonian Craft Show, the incredible cheese platter at a Wine/Champagne Bookstore, the memories of growing up and family members who have passed, float away like a raindrop in a stream. Home brings me back, grounded with a different view of life, a few extra pounds, and a wealth of wonderful experiences added to Who I Am. It’s all part of the dream we call life.

For me, Home is gold, turquoise, and blues, filling me with mindfulness of all my stories, family, friends, deep sighs, and warm memories. We are all so many layers of jeweled tones, built by experiences of being in the moment. I cherish it all, label nothing, and add to the treasure of changing times.
