View the World in a Different Way
Seeing life through the Eyes of an Artistic Creative can often feel like you’re different, out of the mainstream at work, or even unique in a family. Creativity can often be spontaneous, exciting, risky, and certainly a change from the norm! It’s not the status quo, and THAT can make others very uncomfortable.
I’ve come up with unusual, original ways to make truly one of a kind art, presented it to a guild I belonged to at the time, and they all thought that sure was a lot of effort when it’s so much easier to do it like everyone else. I see I’ve thrived by being different, but that isn’t the usual path. To me, doing art clarifies thoughts, opens new paths of potentials, and creates personal answers from within. I take on ambitious creative projects like learning to teach art online, creating new websites with membership sites, and regularly writing a blog, to keep the energy moving. And I love each thing….it’s not a job in any way shape or form. It’s Creating from the Unknown, tapping intuition, and regularly putting myself out ‘there’…..into the cyberspace Cosmos….far out.
I have discovered some great inner Guardians to overcome great worldly doubts. One Huge Plus of doing art regularly is that it pulls us out of the mainstream, out of the habits, out of the chaos that life seems to be out ‘there’. Pull yourself ‘IN’, create rituals for healing yourself, for balancing your inner wisdom with the reality you think you see, with meaningful ceremony to remember, to bless, to honor, to renew, to document, to celebrate, to make special all the passages of Time. Artistic Creatives are all part of a wonderful circle of life. Art has been affirming life choices since the ancients gathered around the fires and created cave art. We are ALL Artists!!
