Living Consciousness is Being Aware of Everything!

Your Creator Self is your true Spirit, the one who connects to the Universe to make Magic happen. We’ve all had ‘magical’ experiences, when everything just Flows in Sync, effortlessly, and in better ways than you could have ever imagined!
NPR Storycorp tells the amazing stories of every day people in all walks of life, that are archived in the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress for posterity. These are stories of magical encounters that have totally changed the lives of all involved. My husband says we should record our story.
I was divorced after 8 yrs of marriage, when my daughter was just a year old. I went back to the high school teaching job I had abandoned 2 years before when I moved to Omaha as my then husband pursued a new job. Morton East HS in Cicero had just hired a new art teacher who could also coach football! Unheard of in the Art Education world!!! I asked them to keep me in mind if anything turned up. I was divorced, with a baby girl, and really, really needed a job.
I received a call in the late summer asking if I’d like that teaching job. The Art Teacher/Coach backed out at the last minute. Great!!! Absolutely, I was ready to jump back into the classroom. Mom took care of my baby girl, and the family home was on the way to school. Life was Good! The job was only for one year, replacing a good friend who was on sabbatical at that time. Possibly the reason ‘Coach’ backed out. He went back to Addison Trail HS, where he did Art/Cafe duty, in the hopes of landing a permanent position.
When my year was up, the fantastic principal at that time, Dr. Kavanaugh, called me in and said there’s an Art Instructor opening at Addison Trail. The Art Teacher there was going to teach Graphic Arts. He gave me my resume, college credentials, and a map to get to Addison! Right then and there, I was on my way for an interview! This was also unheard of in any job application procedure, but desperately needed by me at the time! I was hired, and receiving the tour of the building by the Art Director when he said I should meet the guy who had this job before me…..Dave Gullett. Oh, and he also coaches football!!! In his deepest intuition, Dave had given up 2 jobs that I HAD to have, before we even met.
This is Creative Living at its finest! Doing painting, art, dance, music, crafts, flow of consciousness writing, are all expressions of this deepest of all Creativity. They are ways to touch intuition, to develop a feeling for it, to learn to trust it, so that we are ready to go there at any phase of our lives. No thinking required!
