Feeling Good about yourself is the most responsible thing you can do. Your Power is how you feel about yourself. It’s not political, social, or an agenda, it IS totally Personal. Start with who you see in the mirror every day. Do you still look like the person you’ve known yourself to be all your life? Do you recognize the person you’ve become? Anyway you choose to look these days, can be accomplished by making choices.
There’s an entire website out there about being #grey or not to be. To many, this is an agonizing moment in life. Anything that changes the way you view your life, your abilities, or especially your personality, needs to be given tender loving care. I’ve read some dye to stay ‘hot’, to be political, to be accepted by peers, to keep their edge. As long as it makes you feel great, Do It! Love your body in every way, from your hair to your laugh lines. My Grandmother happily dyed her hair black up until her last few weeks on Earth, at the age of 99. My GrandMom-in-law, went grey at 40, and kept her personal vibrant look until she left us at 94. Both were strong, confident, women who Knew their Power.
Do you dress to feel good about yourself every day? Do your clothes reflect who you really are inside? Are you still that sassy, cool, deep, creative, cute, clever, smart person you were as a teenager? Find them in your mirror and you’re on the right path. No matter where you go or what you do throughout the day, looking good, feeling good about yourself is the top priority! Anything less pulls you down, lowers your self esteem, where you hustle about hoping you don’t run into anyone you know. What is that about??? Personal Choices daily build your confidence. It’s all a combination of being healthy, eating right (no guilt), loving your body, exercise, wearing what makes you happy, and feeling good every precious day.
Who do you consider yourself to BE? Are you an artist, than create art. A writer, than write. An entrepreneur, than create your thing you bring to the world. Do it. Be it. Bring it! Know in your heart that you always know what to do in any situation. Begin locally, do your thing, and allow your Power to expand to the world. It’s Time!
