Meaningful Art Making marks This Moment in Time

Meaningful Art Making today is honoring the Equinox, the last Full Moon, this moment in time. For me, connecting with the Earth movement through the calendar, the Equinox and Solstice events, grounds me. It places me right in this Now time, the only moment of power place I really own.

Remembering the Equinox wisdom of the ancients reminds us to renew, simplify, and embrace change in all its forms. Change is one of the few things you can count on. Instead of gathering on a hill to view the sunrise, find simple creative solutions to flow with it. Balance is the key to being present and living a rich life in mindfulness.

Meaningful art is personal. One of my artist friends makes wonderful Equinox jewelry to honor this moment in Time. Filled with symbolism and gold, each piece is a magical work of art to be worn and cherished.

What kind of meaningful art making can you create today? How can you really ‘feel’ this pause of the Sun on it’s endless journey in your life? Art with meaning reminds us to keep our balance in the world, and value each creative moment we give ourselves.

My answer is to create new paintings filled with magic and mystery. I enter a creative space where intuition takes over. I can’t wait to start the next canvas. I’m also creating our monthly art gatherings, filled with inspiration, lessons, focus, guest artists, and past masters.

My site is being beautifully updated, so I hope to open the doors to our online group soon. I can’t wait to get our community creating together, each on the path of discovering our own true art. It’s a constant journey, and I believe we all learn from each other.
