Keeping up with the latest & greatest in all areas of our lives, creates new opportunities, wonderful AHA moments, and just plain new fun! In the painting class I’m taking online, http://www.paulineagnew.com/flower-power-ecourse/, some of the participants have been sharing their knowledge of the Diana App, Glaze, and Clever Painter. The first two can be added to an ipad, for sure, which makes it so much easier to see the finished product. Once I layer my images, then I go to the iphone for Clever Painter to give the entire picture a ‘painterly’ effect. It’s amazing, easy, and gives great results.

The girl above is ‘wearing’ my Anniversary flowers from this last week-end. They are in a vase, but the App seems to know to eliminate the vase and set those flowers right on her head! Fantastic! Then I just took that image and again with the Diana app, I layered it over the Arch de Triomphe in Paris. A ‘glitter’ filter over all gives it an extra magical quality. The end result leaves one wondering is it a painting, a print, an image transfer? It’s an artistic product of our golden age of Wow factor technology right at our fingertips. And it’s fast.
