Moon of Mystery

Moon of Mystery is a reflection of the mystery of us all. She’s there, but disappears into other places, sometimes appears so huge and strong, then diminishes herself into a pale beacon in a blue sky. She’s often brilliant at night, and subdued during the day.

We love Her best when she dependably appears after dark, the regular routine. But then She becomes the goddess of the dance, unpredictable, surprising, and follows her own cycle to flow regardless of what we expect.

I see all of us being like that. We follow the usual pattern of life for stability. It’s familiar, regular like clockwork. But eventually, we yearn for new experiences. We need to be ignited by something out of the ordinary. The old way gets boring and our spirit and bodies yearn for ‘more’. So we make changes. Try new things. Maybe a risk here or there, which actually is a necessity to move forward, evolve, and change.

Then, somehow, a bit of anxiety may hold us back. We hate to think we’re afraid, but fear is a part of being human. The Unknown can feel like an uncertain place, full of pitfalls and danger. Not allowing it to keep us stuck as life passes us by, is the trick.

Sometimes we connect with another ‘because’ they snap us out of our doldrums. They seem wild, unpredictable, and different from us in an attractive way.

Or it could be a thing to do. Why do people skydive, for heaven’s sake? Immersing our senses brings us to life. A roller coaster, swimming in the ocean, even trying a new dish may open our senses to feelings that we used to have when ‘everything’ was a ‘first’! Getting back to Firsts is a great goal.

Moon of Mystery changes us.

I am of the Moon and Stars, flowing constantly through the Universe, evolving, shifting, changing.

So, maybe it’s time to capture inspiration and create, write, dance, sing, or create from a secret deep Source. In addition, we can do this in a way that’s safe, feels fun, and yet opens us to explore the new.

Returning to our old routines is very grounding. It’s our sanctuary for setting us back on track after a world outing, exploring new Firsts, and dipping out toes into the Ocean of possibilities.

But the Beauty is that we are never the same person as we were before. Our Light shines brighter now, filled with new wisdom, energy, and purpose.
