Wisdom, Detach, Change
For the last two weeks, Owl has been on my mind. Symbolically this great messenger represents gaining wisdom and insights, detaching from the outcomes of anything you do, and changing times. I knew it had to be a part of my latest project to move my life along.
Personally, this is symbolic of my work on the internet. I want my business to continue to reach people all through the night, connect on a deeper level, and create a life of its own to grow and expand, as I release control over every detail. I just completed this “Owl” section yesterday, attaching one of my owls from an original painting I had done and sold years ago.
Since moving to Ct in 2001, we have heard owls but not seen ANY! And yet there she was! This morning as I walked my husband out to his car, this huge barred owl was sitting in our tallest tree. She was large and beautiful! The entire forest was silent. The ravens in every tree, guarded the perimeter, as we all just watched to see what she would do. After shooting some quick pics, she silently glided off into the distance, with her entourage of ravens in tow. I’ve read barred owls can have a 48″ wing span! What a gift this was. Owl has paid a visit, and what that means to me, is that I’m on the right track with my work.
