
The Science of Self Love matters more today than ever before. Self Love comes from really knowing ourselves at the deepest level. None of us are the same person we were a year ago. Life changes us in so many ways.

Why is self love important? It begins when we realize that our actions strengthen us physically, expand our knowledge, and increase our self esteem. We become happier in all we do. Self Love allows us to grow as human beings in a social world.

Begin practicing self love with good self talk. Never call yourself a name or put yourself down. If you make a choice that isn’t great, then shift and make another choice. It happens to each of us. How we react is the key. The strong person doesn’t label themselves or judge anyone for a decision gone wrong. Life goes on.

You’re much more loving when you take care of your needs first and then allow others to discover their own personal direction for happiness. What you put in your body is what you become. Food, inspiration, beauty, love, all affect every cell in your body.
Self love fosters self responsibility for each individuals choice and its resulting consequences. No one can make everyone happy. Know that to be true.

The Science of Self Love is also Self Care.
Setting healthy boundaries has to be a priority in all our connections. Be no one’s door mat, and escape from people who scare you. Seek out those that enliven and encourage you in every way.
Help can be found but it begins with being true to your needs and loving your feelings. Does it feel good? If not, Do Not Do it! Do only those things that foster inner peace.

Next, listen to your body. In any work you do, stand up, walk around, stretch and deep breathe to get the energy moving. Getting out in nature if possible will fill your soul and heart. Bring something back to remind you of the scent, the feel, the colors of the world outside.
