Thoughts and emotions go hand in hand. To me, it’s almost impossible to know which comes first. They are deeply tied together in our deepest psyche, and can create havoc if we let them! The thoughts inside your head are energy packets, flowing in from worldly sources, from yesterdays news, from comments heard along the way. Like a radio, our mind is constantly tuning into frequencies that you can choose to allow into your life, or to release back into the ethers. Just observe them, like there’s a thought, but keep your distance. Be the observer. You have a choice whether you choose to believe it or not.

Mind never stops thinking. It’s a monkey mind of obsessive chatter. You must know you are bigger than this. Put on your Superhero hands on hips stance, letting your body know you choose your thoughts. This begins the chemical change in the body for the good. Stretch that neck, shoulders, back & try to touch your toes. Body needs to feel its power, its movement. You are not the sum total of body parts. You are Consciousness, able to step back from thinking, from emotions, and choose what is in your best interest at this time. Is this uplifting to the life you want to lead? Who are you becoming with these kinds of thoughts?

Each day, we become the Dreamers, dreaming our reality into being with each breath we take, each thought we choose to think. Turn Your World around! Look around you and see your personal world, your reality, without judgement. Thoughts are just opinions, not to be fought or embraced. Accept the way things are without labeling anything good or bad. All just IS.

Being present, being in the Now, is seeing what is truly in front of you. Start by being grateful for the good things you actually have. Doing ART brings you into the NOW. Take it outside, go for a walk, gaze at the vastness of the sky to relax tense muscles. Really Breathe deeply! So often we forget to breathe throughout the day. These shallow little gasps we take aren’t letting our body know we are choosing LIFE in this moment. Massage your head and especially your ears. STEP AWAY FROM TECHNOLOGY. Constant streaming can keep our stress levels at all time highs. Smell the flowers along the way. Create something new. Seek out the new experience. You really can’t change anything, or control anything, except you attitude towards all you see. And this woman is pretty cool!
